Right, but wasn't part of the point of the movie to tell the "untold story" that wasn't known at the time? I thought the movie did give credit to the Canadians (now the Brits, I can understand why they'd be a bit upset). The movie just focused more on the Hollywood-CIA caper story, which not many people knew about previously. And as has been said, 'Based on a true story" doesn't equal "documentary."

Yay for Adele! She's so cute.

Tarantino has had nice work done on his face. But is that a leather tie? And Gone With The Wind music to see him off the stage?

Her makeup artist Michael Ashton is wonderful. He is excellent at retro glam, he's virtually rekindled this look with a modern edge.
The look is about nude/natural shadows with a graphic winged eye liner, false lashes and tons of mascara.

I have a suspicion he paid someone a lot of money to look like that.

Yay Tarantino!! Very well-deserved! He looked horrible, but I enjoyed his wackiness during his speech.

One could argue that the Sheardown's had it worse than the Taylors. John Sheardown was the Canadian who first invited them to shelter with the Canadians, he said something to the effect of what took you so long? He wasn't even mentioned.

Methinks Seth is going to get in a whole lot of trouble for all his lame jokes making this go way long.

Not really, he's not a member of the WGA so he wasn't eligible there. After winning at the Globes and BAFTA I wouldn't call it a surprise.

It's the musical numbers that always drag out the show. And there have been a lot in this show, as announced. Besides, the Oscars always last FOREVER.
