Has a site been announced yet and if not any idea what time of year they usually announce it?

I think I will have a snack and take a nap before I eat and go to sleep.
When I'm old, I don't want them to say of me, "She's so charming." I want them to say, "Be careful, I think she's armed."
Fact of Life: After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says W T F
The announcement gets later and later every year. No city seems to want SA. It's so early in the season that the skaters aren't ready for prime time yet. And then there are the last-minute withdrawals.
I heard the announcement could be made "soon."

I would love it if SA would just cater to my every needs. Then it could stop all thisnonsense, as the only person it would have to please would be me. Hear that IJS--start kowtowing to me or I will type very angrily in your general direction and cast aspersions on your intelligence and sexual proclivities of your ancestors.

When hugging a grammar nazi, I always say "there, their, they're."
I was told by a skater at Worlds that it probably be in the east and would be announced in two weeks. We shall see.
Spokane is in East Washington.
With US Nationals in Boston, it sadly won't be Providence, or my skating tickets budget is going to explode next year.
Is it a certainty though that it'll be the first GP competition ?
Seeing as the GPF is in JPN, I'm afraid they might mix it up to not let the NHK competitors suffer,
Afraid because i'll be in north america from sep - nov only
With US Nats in Boston, I was thinking maybe not east coast this year, I ceretainly can't afford two comps or two weeks off.
The Salt Lake Senior B will be in mid-September, I've heard.
The order for the GP this fall is:
18 - 20 Oct. Hilton HHonors Skate America, TBA, USA
25 - 27 Oct. Skate Canada International, St. John, New Brunswick, Canada
1 - 3 Nov. Cup of China, Beijing, China
8 - 10 Nov. NHK Trophy, Tokyo , Japan
15 - 17 Nov. Trophee Bompard, Paris , France
22 - 24 Nov. Rostelecom Cup, Moscow, Russia
5 - 8 Dec. Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final (Combined Juniors and Seniors), Fukuoka, Japan
The ISU has announced the dates and order of the GP in the fall of 2014 in ISU Communication No. 1784: http://isu.sportcentric.net/db//files/serve.php?id=4397

Didn't LA have Worlds just a few years ago?![]()
^ 2009 Worlds was in Los Angeles, and 2011 Skate America was in Ontario, very close to Los Angeles.
Skate America has been on the West Coast for the past 3 years, so if the above rumor is true, seems to make sense that it'd be the East Coast's turn this year.
