They've always had a brother/sister vibe to me. Twins even. I can't picture them skating with anyone else or even working without each other. That kind of togetherness goes beyond romance.

That's a bit harsh. DOI is currently mid way through its 7th series here so they are high profile at the moment and on TV and in the papers a lot. T&D have always been tabloid darlings.
