That is one "to die for" spread eagle position by Cassar.

Much luck to Wesley and Jonathan in their futures. Very happy that Wesley can go out on a high note with his Omaha free skate!

I will be looking forward to seeing Jonathan's choreography. With his dance background and his performance ability, I would be he could make a real impact.
I think I will have a snack and take a nap before I eat and go to sleep.

The Italian women skaters always date/marry the hottest guys... Joubert, Zimmerman, Lambiel, and now Brubaker. I didn't know they were dating. Congrats to them!

Wesley's final skate was simply magical. I will remember him and that last skate always.

And I will remember your name too Mr. Cassar. I looked forward to your programs and wonderful artistry every year!

I wish both skaters all the happiness that it is possible for life to bestow! Thank you for the happiness you have brought to my life watching you.

And what a lovely surprise about Rockne and Stefania!

Yes, Wesley really did have an ethereal moment. How apt, considering his music. It's so nice that he was able to leave the stage on such a warm and fulfilling note.

I hope Cassar has the same feelings. His free skate wasn't without flaws, but his short was magnificent and overall he has given skating fans so many wonderful performances that I hope he feels fully satisfied with what has given the sport.

May both move on to equally satisfying and fulfilling activities, wherever their lives should lead them.
"I miss footwork that has any kind of a discernible pattern. The goal of a step sequence should not be for a skater to show the same ice coverage as a Zamboni and take about as much time as an ice resurface. " ~ Zemgirl, reflecting on a pre-IJS straight line sequence

Oh that bitch Stefania! I've long had plans to give Rockne's full thighs a rub down and treat his head of curls to an Indian massage.

    Sigh. Sad, lonely times

All the best to all concerned

    Congrats to the lucky couple!

So glad Wesley is going out with such a great final skate at Nationals. And Jonathan has provided so many magical moments at Nationals too. His "Schindler's List" program was my favorite though. Farewell guys and good luck in whatever you persue next!
I meant to take the high road.... but I missed the exit.

In the article, Wesley says he will consider pairs and is open to tryouts!

And thanks to Jonathan and Wesley for their contributions to skating! Wesley: Call Tiffany Vise? Or, see if Yasmin Siraj wants to do pairs.

This is what I'm wondering. Should Hotarek be worried?

Agreed. Both my mother and I thought it was a beautiful moving performance. One of the best of the night.

Was reading on my phone, and originally thought that Rockne finally found a skating partner... Alas, "only" a fiancee

No she'd be way too tall for Rockne.
