ETA: You beat me to the punch, Buzz, I'd have to say Die Hard definitely. The first was the best and they've gotten worse by trying to repeat that success. Star Trek the original I believe is already out of its misery. They've started a new franchise with younger actors.
LOL, I have to say the former, cuz like David Letterman is now a Kennedy Center honoree, ya dig? He'd never stoop to hosting the Oscars ever again. And he probably wouldn't have anyways since his feelings seemed to be hurt they didn't get his wry humor the first time around.
Altho' hopefully if Heaven's Gate is ever remade, they make it a whole lot better!
