    I would ask you for the correct HIPPA number for any information about a patient you called about..or any other, including if they had been admitted to the facility. If you were unable to produce the necessary 4 or 5 digit number, I'd politely tell yu that, due to current privacy laws protecting our patients, that information could not be given out. Pisses 'em off something chronic, but I hold fast to my guns, no matter how hard they beg and try to explain..It is, after all, the law..
