LOL. Pinky and Christina wouldn't be friends for long if she started coaching her (although, I have a laundry list of what I would tell skaters).

    Ashley Wagner tweeted this morning:
"Last day in Toronto working with the incredible @shaelynnbourne! Can't wait for everyone to see this new show number" (for the Canadian Stars on Ice tour, I assume).

Working on that too, has been for awhile now. Christina loves to dance, did you know? She says if she hadn't done skating she would have liked to be a ballerina, even though dancing is not a natural strength for her, she still likes it!

Um, Christina does not have the carriage and the spine flexibility to be a ballerina but I am thrilled to hear that she is working on this. It would take her skating to the next level, along with the 3f3t. Best of luck!

Is this something that could have been achieved if she started training to be a ballerina at an early age?
I know its different, but i didn't start skating until i was 12, and couldn't do the splits or a bend back etc, however, these are things that
i can still do now, even at my advanced age of 29.

Guess she made the right choice with skating then, huh? Anyways, I just said she LIKES to dance - that does not require one to be good at dancing or have a flexible spine . Anyways, a lot of flexibility just comes down to stretching a lot

29 ladies are listed in USFS' 2013-14 International Selection Pool - I've posted the list in this new thread in GSD: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/show...Team-Envelopes
20 of them are JGP age-eligible! (excluding Gold) 12 of them have yet to compete in a JGP.

Edmunds needs to make her JGP debut first.

They sure get a lot of swag. A certificate, a box of something (pin)?, a trophy, flowers and a medal.

Wow how tall is Edmunds now? She appears to have been growing like a weed all season. This is one reason why I think she should push for Sochi, she might be too tall by 2018.

A good rant is cathartic. Ranting is what keeps me sane. They always come from a different place. Take the prime minister, for example. Sometimes when I rant about him, I am angry; other times, I am just severely annoyed - it's an important distinction. - Rick Mercer

No idea but there are pictures of her with Kostner and Polina looks slightly taller than her. Maybe she is wearing skates, but if they are both in flat shoes, that would make Polina close to 5'8", because Carolina is 5'7" (or at least almost), so for a 14 year old figure skater, that is really tall!

Whatever height Polina is, she seems to be adjusting to it just fine. Six triples including 3/3, all with +GOE and no edge calls? Awesome! I'm not sure we need to retire her just yet.

Congrats to her for an incredible season!
