The exercises Evan does for his training are quite incredible. His core strength must be off the charts.

Is Evan returning to skate in Sochi? Hope he has a quad in his pocket. As far as things are going, it is hard to win without one unless the others all have a melt down.

Wow, Evan looked great on Today! I have forgotten what good qualities he has in his skating. Great technique and performance ability. He really commands the ice. I think he would have beaten Max Aaron at Nationals even without a quad....
Lysacek attended a USOC Team USA fundraising event in Big Sky, Montana and skated outdoors on a small ice surface (March 27, 2013): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOJ65RhgZgE ("Poeta")

Has anyone seen him actually skate?
I have seen him skate live many times during the last four years. IMO, in 2011 & 2012 he was skating better than he did at the Olympics in terms of presentation & artistry. However, I have not seen him skate since the surgery. Hope he makes a full recovery. Would love to see him compete this year.
