Both substitute pairs (Leng/LeDuc USA and Klatka/Chruscinski POL) are now listed as Accepted.

I wonder why the US isn't sending any ladies.

Probably because all the Senior ladies in the top 13 at Nationals have already competed internationally at least once this season (the exception is Yasmin Siraj, whose first international of the season will be Junior Worlds), unlike Johnson and Mroz.

Interesting, probably that's official policy. Anyway I have had direct contact with the responsible Committee so I guess it just needs a formal board approval (?) and then will be official?

Competition is from 21 til 24 February 2013 per announcement in first post . It also mentions in the announcement that this is the last chance to gain minimum TES prior to World Championships in London, Ontario.

Looking forward to seeing Alexander Johnson again! Wonder if Brandon will do the quad loop at this competition. It was mentioned on the NBC broadcast that he planned on doing it at Nationals, and then didn't do it.

US Figure Skating is so wise for investing in all of these skaters-- Now, all of our senior pairs teams will have any opportunity to earn that scores that will allow them into events next season. And with the OG around the corner, it is likely that the top teams will not go to 4CCs, so this is a huge opportunity for these kids!
