Sylvia, Alessia's surname has just one "s" (BUSI). I am sorry to hear they split, I saw them skate live at Junior Worlds last month and I really liked them. Thanks for the infos about those splits btw

A grumpy Canadian will always be nicer than a polite Milanese
Belated thanks for the spelling correction - I think I had "Busi" originally and have since corrected my post (#100).

It's absolutely disgusting that the Russian Federation has refused to release her after everything that has happened.
Karolina Prochazkova (CZE) was teaming up with the younger Fabbri brother (Andrea, ITA) and they will be training in Milano under Barbara Fusar-Poli. As they both were taking part at Junior Worlds 2013 they have nearly a season to decide which country to represent for.
Michal Ceska is still looking for a partner, currently he will be heading to Canada in June/July to have some try outs there (do not know the girls names).
Thanks, oubik!
Kulbach's former partner listed in the ISU bio linked above, Natalja Zabijako (EST), has teamed up with Alexander Zaboev (CZE) and they are representing Estonia. They competed a Senior Pairs SP (44.06) last weekend at the May Day Open club comp. in Maryland: http://www.gardensfsc.org/May%20Day%...ml/SEG014.html

ETA: Former U.S. JGP dance competitor Ryan Devereaux, now 24, is listed on IPS. He was 5th in Junior Dance at 2008 U.S. Nationals with Shannon Wingle and retired to go to college.

Good for him. Any idea what major/field he got his degree in? 24 is still a peak age for a male ice dancer, and it's certainly a way to ward off the cubicle-weight-gain if he's already moved into a career job.
Assuming he's graduated with his undergrad (or even masters?), it'll be interesting to see if he finds a partner whether he will manage full-time work in his field or opts to work part-time/free-lance/coaches/pursue a higher degree... or focus only on training. Either way, good luck to him!
After the Finnish junior ice dance couple Sara Afgai (she is actually a Canadian with Iranese roots) and Jussiville Partanen split, Jussiville is back training in Finland, and has a new partner, Cecilia Törn, who used to be a single skater and represented Finland in 2011 European Championships in Bern.
Great to see Cecilia back on the ice and Jussiville finding a new partner!
i hope juicyville takes off because this is one great name
I feel like I'm in a dream. But it can't be a dream because there are no boy dancers!

Would anyone have info on Walden & Edwards GBR and Gorshkova & Butikov RUS, have they retired ?
Louise Walden/Owen Edwards announced their retirement recently (ETA: see my post below for the source link).
U.S. senior national & international ice dancer Charlotte Maxwell, now 23, recently listed herself on IPS: http://icepartnersearch.com/showbio.php?i=4435
