    Irina Slutskaya 2014??

I just came across this video on youtube so pardon me if it has been posted before but wow Irina... triple flip, triple loop?? Who needs Perky 2.0?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=...ture=endscreen

Who is the oldest ladies skater with triples like this? I know Kristi still had a triple lutz until at least 2000?

Her performance at the medal winners open was great! Impressive jumps that more than meet the current sp norms. Fs would of course be different.

I think it is as impressive that she has a 3Lp as it would be if she had a 3Lz. The 3Lz is more athletically difficult, but the 3Lp is harder on the body, yet she still does it from back threes.
I am in the K&C at the 1980 Olympics telling Frank Carroll he will have a male skater from KAZ with a 4T, 3A-3T and a World Silver going into the 2014 Olympics ...

Quite a few women compete pairs into their 30s and obviously they do triples, though usually not the harder ones. Meagan Duhamel, who is doing 3Lzs, is 27.

Kristi was 28-29 in 2000, so it's not that big a deal age-wise - there are/have been skaters who were still competing at that age, e.g. Butyrskaya, Sebestyen. It is nice for a non-competitive skater to keep her jumps for so long, though. Irina turns 34 tomorrow, has two kids, and has been retired since 2006. It's pretty that her jumps are this good.

Wow her technical content was better than Lepisto's in 2010 :: It's videos like this that make me wish there were still a professional circuit. That was really a very nicely put together program.

We should all contact her somehow and convince to her to compete.

If she can't make the Russian team, then she can try and compete for Ukraine or something.

Let's bring back Kimmie too! She can compete for Germany!

Lepisto did 3t/3t and one triple lutz? But the rest of the fs was doubles.

I miss the pro competitions- the serious ones, like Landover.
