Siblings Kevin Reynolds and Rachel Flatt

Listening to Kevin's free skating music, 10 dollars says he took the CD out of younger sister, Rachel Flatt's tote bag.

I'm positive she used a similar cut in 2008 and 2009.

    Flatt's 2009 WC FS

This topic was discussed last year in the Program Music/Choreo thread at
http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/show...=1#post3619469 (when Reynolds' FS music choice was announced) and http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/show...=1#post3662835 (when he debuted the program in competition last August).

Takahashi/Tran also used music from this French-Canadian composer (Mathieu) in their FS last season (also their last, as it turned out).

BTW, major props to Kevin Reynolds for skating this program so well at 4CC today. This turned out to be "winning" music for both him and Rachael!

Terrific program by Kevin. Nice to see a Canadian use a Canadian composer!

I got a little chuckle out of the thread title alone. Rachael and Kevin do have an uncanny facial resemblance, in addition to sharing music choices. Hail to Kevin Reynolds, 4CC giant slayer or quad King, or what have you. Judges do love those quads, and KR is making them look effortless. He's like a present-day Tim Goebel with those 3 quads in the free program.

People keep saying how much Kevin's presentation has improved ... Would be nice to see that aspect of his skating continue improving, along with him finding a different music selection and choreo for a new short program. Maybe Eman and Jeff can help give Kevin some artistic presentation tips/ advice to further his improvement. Guess his haircut didn't hurt either, and likely helped him in making an impression with the judges, at least a little bit, since the quads are the main factor in his winning.

Anyways, how very satisfying for Kevin and the Canucks. If nothing else, he's stating his claim for front-runner Canadian champion status in post-Chan era (if Chan doesn't continue through 2018).
