How will Yasmin and Samantha get their points remains to be interesting.
The only ISU junior competitions that are held before the JW are Obersdorf, Ljubljana, Vienna, however all competitors deadlines were closed before US nationals.
(I also placed this questions in the other thread however this one is more appropriate)
USFS only named skaters who already have attained the TES minimums.

You are correct.
I had to go back and check. Yasmin earned her points in JGP Volvo Cup 2011.
Thank you for correcting me.
It would have been nice if you had put "US" in your thread title. There *are* people on this board from places other than the US.

I am so glad that Wagner is not going to 4CCs.
I like that they are sending Gold to 4CC and leaving Wagner at home. Gold can use the experience and another chance to test herself under pressure whereas Ashley doesn't need it and can use the time better by making sure she is healthy and well trained.

I can't believe they gave a spot to Adam Rippon and not Jeremy Abbott for 4CC's...That just does not seem logical from a best-results-possible-at-4CC-type of approach.![]()
Why decline? Unless he's injured again? He needs the points.I'd like to know if they bypassed him or he declined. I recall they bypassed Alissa one year.
They bypassed Alissa when she was national champion. Quite a bit different, I think.
They bypassed Alissa last year when she was silver medalist, not champion...but she still had the Worlds assignment.
I seriously doubt they deliberately bypassed Jeremy, they wouldn't do that. He almost certainly declined. It's not crazy that he might decide not to go to 4CCs. Maybe he didn't feel up to gearing up for a competition overseas with little time to spare, maybe he felt he needed some time to rest and regroup for next year.

Can an admin please rename this thread before I throw my laptop out of the window in a fit of rage?
THERE ARE OTHER COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD OUTSIDE OF THE US, THANKS.
How is Patrick Chan not going to Worlds?!?! Or Trankov/Volosozhar!?!? This sucks!
I am sorry for the missing "US". I tried to fix it but I am not able to.
