The good news is that Kaetlyn is on the radar now, simply because she's being written about internationally. She won't be sneaking up on anyone and now the international judges know her. I trust that means they won't be too shy about scoring her well if she performs. 4CC will tell us a lot. She got just over 60 at SC for a clean short. I'll bet the same skate would get her 65 in Osaka.

The more I read this thread the more it's clear what a looser Kim is.

I think this thread has hurt Karen Preston's feelings.

Everytime I read this title "Canada's Rising Star May Pose Challenge to Kim Yu-na" I wonder if she is going to challenge her to an arm wrestling contest. Osmond may not be the best Canadian lady for that, but I'm pretty confident any Canadian lady would be tops against all the current elite crop (though Ashley Wagner might challenge.)

Skating, however, I think Yuna has the advantage.

From recent events at nationals, I would say a bar fight is what Osmond plans to win.

But don't let Yu Na Kim's mother get in on the fight. Yu Na would then have the advantage.

I hate articles like this because the poor girl has enough to deal with already without humongous expectations. Give her a chance to get through worlds this year before the expectations really fire up.

She has a good year so far, and people are pouncing on her right and left. She's only 17. And yes, she may displace a few favorites in the rankings, but I don't really think she will beat out everyone..........at least not this year, in the future though, watch out .

    Possibly...
Because the follow-up article is likely to be "Osmond upsets Kim!" ...(by calling her a cow)
