Congratulations on both leaving a toxic environment, getting a new job fairly quickly, and then finding out your nemesis was fired! Sweet news all around.
I was in a similar situation. My supervisor was mercurial and I was always singled out for what I would now call abuse. It became a toxic situation and my usually robust health suffered. I left, was unemployed for a few months, and now I work for slightly less but I'm healthy and very happy things happened as they did.
Things happen for a reason.
