It's a documentary - like video of showing Suguri from her childhood to her life today.
I haven't listened to the music yet, but the video is touching. Here's the translation of the subtitles.

So many achievements (results shown)

and she hit a wall

To win an Olympic medal, she prepared for Vancouver.
However, multiple injuries prevented her from making the Olympic team.
When everybody believed she would hang up skates, she announced she would carry on.
With young skaters rising, she has become the oldest eligible figure skater at 32 years old.

The physical change due to age was much more than she imagined.
She faced criticism for poor results. She has been excluded from the National training team, and lost all her sponsors.
Her entire world has changed, working for a company and then going to train.

It was hard.

I want to believe in the dream I had once. So, I'll say it as many times as I have to.

You can fly, you can fly away.

Nothing's gonna happen if you just stand there. Start walking.

With all the support, head for the international stage once more.

She said

"I am never going to give up.

This is the way I live.

What's wrong with living a dream everyday?

I can't be bothered by what others say.

What's wrong for wishing things I can't have?"

Just sitting there and wishing won't bring anything.

What's wrong with living a dream everyday? We should live our dreams everyday - that's great.

What's wrong for wishing things I can't have? Some people think our reach should always exceed our grasp - our dreams should be big and challenging, yes. Should our dreams be absolutely impossible? No, I don't think so. We each naturally outgrow certain dreams and find new ones as we (hopefully) mature - dreams should morph to fit our growing knowledge and maturity. Losing the dreams of our youth is hard (many of us have been there); moving to new dreams/goals is exciting and life-affirming (been there too).

I respect an accomplished athlete like Suguri. I think that her apparent inability to reshape her dreams as she moves on in years is starting to become sad. Her determination was admirable and will be again when she applies it to a new dream, one that fits a more mature athlete, mature woman. I hope she can get there.

There is a big and important difference between sticking to our dreams and starting to live in fantasies.
