Movie lines that have an expected effect

I was watching the Avengers with a friend that's having relationship drama. The man involved keeps saying "it's never black and white, there are SO many shades of gray." Over and over. She got a text to that effect, just before this scene came on.

And somehow "are you ever NOT going to fall for that" applies to a whole different set of issues now, not just Thor . Did anyone else have that experience, where characters randomly address things that are happening to you at the same time?

Dang! I have seen so many movies and tv shows with lines that resonates in real life. This one i remember quite well. In the Queen Latifah movie "Joyful Noise" she plays a single mother raising two kids, a boy and teen girl, while her estranged husband is away doing military service. There is a scene where mother and daughter are in a car arguing over mom's disapproval of the other's boyfriend. Daughter is insistent that she would rather live with her dad at which mon pulls over and tells her daughter, "It's really hard to make a mistake if you're not there." I love that scene. It just seems so real to me and could very well be me and my own mother.

This is a bit out there. End of The Dark Knight Rises, where the lawyer taking care of Bruce's will says, "Leave no stone unturned, we can't have a string of pearls on the manifest as lost." You find out later that (for those who haven't seen)

Bruce Wayne left behind his pain and has run away with Selina Kyle to start a new life, and given her the pearls that once belonged to his mother.

As some of you know, I'm getting married soon, and when the lawyer says that line, I just picture them taking each other's hands and going off into a life unknown, but together.

Also, songs. Maroon 5's "Payphone." Instead of a bad breakup, I imagine that his girlfriend died and that he's trying to call her in heaven. (I mean, who uses a payphone nowadays?) I don't know why I feel that.

I don't spend much time in bars of any type, but that line would make me think of exactly the same movie.
