You keep using that word ("jubilee"). I do not think it means what you think it means.

Capricorns, eh?
Ailey, Duvall, Rose, and Keaton are the ones I know the most about. I'm also familiar with Eco, Wyman, and Manson (Marilyn, that is) --
Scariest most intimidating fight or flight scenario:
1. Giving a speech in front of strangers you need to impress
2. Being interviewed for a job you want by 3 or more company honchos simultaneously
3. Undergoing cross-examination in a courtroom
4. Being pulled over by a cop (i.e. police officer, not ISU CoP enforcer)
5. Performing a parallel parking test involving cones you must not hit or knock over (and you have to pass the test with only three attempts)
The fifth option, most definitely.
I've translated Florence King into fifteen languages and Constanze Mozart and I are likethis!
Repeat of #12...
Thanks for the introduction to Florence King! I had run across a book awhile back about Constanze Mozart: After the Requiem -- you wouldn't happen to be the book's translator, btw?Fascinating how there are so many stories out of the mainstream about unheralded people/ events just waiting to be uncovered and brought to light.
Re #12,
I've faced all scenarios and have found 3 and 4 to be the most intimidating, but manageable if remembering to breathe and trying to stay fully present in the moment and thereby perhaps rising above and overcoming the circumstances. Numbers 1 and 2, while scary and nerve-racking can be a piece of cake for me. With practice and thorough preparation, confidence can be one's ally in such situations.
My Dad first taught me how to parallel park and it was easy back then (because he took me out every weekend for practice, and he was a great instructor). I had to go through the parking test again recently and it was NOT fun. Fortunately, angels were with me and I passed miraculously after several attempts. Use a car you are very familiar with and cross your fingers -- but just not while handling the steering wheel!
Repeat of #12 (It's late and I'm feeling a bit lazy ...)

Already done 1 & 5 and failed miserably. 4 can't happen because I don't have a car. Been to many interviews and hey are all scary but not as much as unemployment. So my answer is #3.
