He mentioned it in the interview on the Today Show this morning, as well as his previously announced "turn" in the role in Toronto.

At first I was confused and thought, "Wait, I thought Broadway was only in New York."

"Audiences can see Stojko's incarnation when Chicago opens at Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre next March."

Source is this Sept. 2013 Canadian Press article http://www.cbc.ca/news/arts/skater-e...cago-1.1858941

Would love to see him play that slick lawyer on stage.

Elvis Stojko is multi-talented and multi-faceted.

It should have Stephen Carriere as Mr. Cellophane, including his skate to that song!

Elvis skated at the Rockefeller plaza on the Today Show today. At first I thought he was Max. He surely did skate well.

At first I was confused and thought, "Wait, I thought Broadway was only in New York."
You aren't confused. Broadway is only in New York City, and even then applies only to the theaters on and around Broadway. Everything else is "off-Broadway", "out of town" or "touring company."

The article itself doesn't use the term "Broadway debut" that I could see. He will be appearing in Toronto, not New York. (Still, good for him for finding something that interests him after skating.)

Didn't he also do some musical theater several years ago?

From the article linked in post #1:
Beginning March 17, 2014, Stojko will step into the role of slick lawyer Billy Flynn for eight performances only through March 23. At the conclusion of his Broadway engagement, Stojko will join the company of Chicago's North American tour for its Toronto engagement, March 26-30 at the Prince of Wales Theatre.

LOL, they love to use a play on words in the title. They should have said: The musical "Chicago"

He will be in New York City on Broadway at the Ambassador Theatre. I would love to see him. He has so much charisma; I bet he is amazing on stage, what a perfect roll for him!

I wonder if anyone bought that single in earnest... (and not for the camp factor)

As a child, little sioux thought Elvis Stojko and Billy Ray Cyrus were the same person.

Nice. But it doesn't sound like Elvis to me, he must be deliberately using a different tone for singing than he does for speaking.
