    Thanks, hanca!

My guess is that, barring injury, Serafima Sakhanovitch, Maria Sotskova and Evgenia Medvedeva will all debut in the JGP next year for sure; I'd think Kayumova is also a likely pick. I don't know what Pogorilaya will do, but if she makes it JW and does well there, she might try to make a run at the Olympic spots....

Chernyshova competed at the Volvo Open in Riga this season. She cored 118.14 and met the TES minimums for JW, but she doesn't have any significant international experience aside from that. Perhaps she will debut there as well, if she does well in the LP.

He has a sinus infection. Per Alexander Gorshkov, they should be fine by JW.

you forgot also Natalia Ogoreltseva. She had a good results too, although from some reason had to withdraw from junior nationals. But I think they will give her JGP event.

Of the top 8 girls, the ones age eligible for JW are Radinova, Lipnitskata, Chernyshova, Gerasimova, and Pogorilaya. All the others are too young. So I assume the last spot is between Pogorilaya, Gerasimova, and Chernyshova. I have never heard of Chernyshova before though, does she have international experience and thus the TES mins? I feel less worried for Pogorilaya now seeing as she only needs to move past 2 of the skaters ahead of her (Gerasimova is barely ahead as is) to make the team, or potentially just Gerasimova as (edited as I see the post above), Chernyshova does have the TES mins, but her JGP result is nowhere near as strong as Pogorilaya or even Gerasimova. It will be a pity if Anna does not make the team considering I think she'd have a decent shot to medal - the Russians sweeping the ladies podium, should she make the team, especially considering neither Wang nor Miller will be there.

i am disappointed for Anna and Sergei, they were so close to getting a medal at last world juniors when the Music system failed at the arena, and now they lose to Kosgina/Moroshkin. K/M have not improved at all, they bore me. They have gone downhill, an original DomShab clone now imitating A/P.

Will Anna and Sergei still be sent to Junior Worlds due to the strength of their fall season?

I love watching Russian Jrs,such a stiff competition
Favorite lady of the day was Medvedeva, some real attitude out there! It was also nice to see Lip again, she seemed pleased during her program.I saw her live at TEB in Nov and felt that it was too much "business" at the time and hoped that she would grow more into her programs as the season went on.She is a beautiful skater and another year should do her good to reach to the top.Radionova is a rock as usual!

    Congratulations to Elena & Serafima.

Whilst Julia Lipnitskaya finished 5th, she has been suffering with one injury after another all season, has just come back from the latest injury, and is clearly not yet back to her best. Still a month to go until Junior worlds, so she still has time.

As Sakhanovich (2nd), Sotskova (3rd), and Medvedeva (4th), are not yet age eligible for international juniors, the team for junior worlds will likely be Radionova (1st), Lipnitskaya (5th), and Pogorilaya (6th).

Senior nationals are filled with junior skaters and junior nationals are further filled with sub-juniors, this is the story of Russian nationals.
