He skated well, but was costumed like a streetwalker imo. He says he still plans on trying for Sochi. His reasons for ending his competitive season didn't ring true imo.
He was pretty sweet doing that final ice slide through standing water. Loved seeing him come out of that move with a giant grin on his face. Wheeeee.
Standing water? Where on earth did they have him skating??

Oh, brrr!

His smile when he came up from the slide in that puddle really showed he has true joy in skating.
But OMG- what the hell was he wearing- that was insane even for Johnny. And his hair appears to be receding a bit.
Without a doubt he is done being competitive (but kudos to him if he wants to keep trying)- but man, I love watching him skate.
Thanks for the info! Definitely watching Friday. I was catching up on some of Johnny's skating last week and came across this particular program of his at The Rockerfeller Center. I've always liked Poker Face, and I loved this program.

Editing because I realized it was aired last Friday. I wonder if the video is at the NBC Today Shows website.

I found it on YouTube. For anyone that hasn't seen it:

I'm glad the caption on the YouTube credited the hairstylist, so others will know who not to let near their hair![]()

Simone -- thanks for posting the link. I really enjoyed that. The hair may have been Jack Frost, but the costume is Frank-N-Furter.
