I admit this used to be guilty pleasure but the show got tiresome. I gave up on the show after Chuck slept with Jenny and I'm glad it's being put out of irs misery. but I'll watch the finale just to see who is Gossip Girl.

I've watched GG all along, even though I too think it became too elaborate and boring at some point. I think even the fashion/settings highlights started fading at some point, and definitely got more attention in the beginning.

The serie finale was so under-whelming, it kind of s*cked.

Do you think creators knew all along who GG was going to be, or do you think they just picked a convenient one when the end was coming?

I like the idea of this show ending with Dan and Blair on the Met steps sometime last year. Perfect time to close, because it's been a garbage-fest ever since.

Dan as Gossip Girl is interesting, but SO random. It's clear the writers didn't know who Gossip Girl would be until this season. Then they just picked a name out of a hat.

I always thought the show should have ended with Chuck waking up in a hospital after getting shot and realizing the last 3 seasons were all a dream.

I thought that was weird, too, but then Lilly isn't exactly an upstanding citizen herself. I guess it made sense the shady characters were drawn together.

I loved the character of Ivy, though, and thought her ending was unfortunate.

I know she was seducing Rufus earlier this season so completely missed how she switched to Serena's father.

Apparently Serena's father transferred part of Lola's money into Ivy's name, and that's when the two of them hooked up. Ivy's story with Rufus was just a cover up, to get access to the inner circle.

Lola's and Serena's father wanted to get back with Lily all along. He talked Ivy into believing he wanted to take Lily down, leaving her alone and without money, which Ivy wanted because of how Lily had treated her.
