I'm so glad it was caught early! ((HUGS)) to Whitneyskates, mom, and family!
"Cancer" must be one of the most frightening words in the English language. But I am among those who says thank goodness for torn rotator cuffs!!!?????!!!! I hope she recovers well and completely.
BARK LESS. WAG MORE.
Whitneyskates hope everything goes well for your mom. We all send our best wishes. My dad recently was diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma and had one chemo treatment so far.Thankfully the pet scan showed stage 1 also. Its hard at Christmas to be cheerful as i care about him so much. He's doing fine at the moment though. I find watching figure skating helps me forget about worrying at least for awhile. hug

You have my thoughts and prayers. I am so glad it was caught early, and it has not spread.
Sending prayers.
Thank you everyone for the prayers and well wishes. My Mom's surgery went great. They were able to completely remove the cancer and she should be home in about 5 days.![]()

What great news!
((((((Whitneyskates))))))) wonderful news. Hope she is back home for Christmas. Hopefully my dads chemo goes well. He is to have 4 then another pet scan to see if its gone, then either radiation if not all gone or another 4 chemo. His second is tomorrow. hugs
Fabulous news. Good luck and best wishes to your dad, figuristka.
I spent a very interesting night in the hospital with my mom. They gave her a morphine drip that instead of giving her a dose when she pushed a button, malfunctioned and gave her 3 doses per hour, even though she didn't push the button. Now, my mother is a very petitie woman and it doesn't take anything strong to zone her out, and when that happens she gets very chatty and very opinionated. So, thanks to that malfunctioning morphine drip, a poor unsuspecting nurse now knows that purple scrubs don't do a thing for her.
While the commentary from your mom was hilarious, the fact that she was getting an overdose like that due to a machine malfunction is really frightening!

It definitely was. At first we though she was accidently pushing the button because she kept laying on it, so the nurse put it up and realized that it was still giving her doses.
