Almost every family dinner my father-in-law (a double doctorate high energy physicist) brings up the fact that the sun will expand and swallow up the earth in 3 billion years. He thinks we should start planning NOW what is to be done about it. I think that if the earth (or mankind in some form) is still around then, we will have come up with some ideas, so I don't lose sleep over it. He may be joking, but he is so serious about it that sometimes I wonder.

I vote black hole , and see it going down thusly: Chris Daughtrey's bandmates quit, leaving him a solo act. Chad Kroeger's bandmates also quit, leaving Chad and Chris to form an uholy duo which will probably be named Daughtryback or Nickeldaugh. This causes so much suckiness that the entire world is drawn into a black hole with the dropping of their joint CD entitled I would change my name and cut my hair and wear a wallet on a chain but I wouldn't cut my hair because I'm bald but I will change my name.

Hmmm, approximately 12 hours left where I live; maybe I should go ahead and eat that cheesecake I prepared for the Christmas holidays-I'd really, really hate to see a good cheesecake go to waste...
On another note, I definitely saw zombies this morning, but that's a pretty normal scenario in my morning Bikram yoga class...
