Thanks for posting the article - very interesting. Those Russians always did it tough growing up.
What the hell is a Ninja Twizzle? Does it have anything to do with hard shelled aquatic life forms that live in the sewer?

Word. I know I would have found it difficult to have to ride a variety of subways/buses/trains/whatever for two-hours everyday, total respect for her there. . I may be misremembering, but didn't Plushenko actually live on his own-away from his family for several years as a child in order to train with Mishin?

Thanks so much for the article Sylvia, I love G&P's skating, and hope Oksana finds happiness in coaching as well.

She looks amazing, definitely does not look 41!

I didn't know she coached Angela in 2003. Wish she had more high level students. I'd love to see what she can do.

Grishuk is not listed as one of Nikodinov's coaches in any of her bios I've seen online so perhaps she worked with her on choreography or in an unofficial capacity?

Thanks for posting! Great to read a new article and see new pictures of her. I wish she coached top skaters like Platov does! Does anyone know if Oksana is married? I heard a few years back that she was engaged, but I don't think she has ever been married. Has she? It's never really ever mentioned.

It is my pleasure to seed Oksana quite often here in Southern California and have the opportunity to judge here students. Most are well prepared.

I have know Oksana since 1993 when I met her at a the Grand Prix of Russia in St Petersburg.

Now wait a minute, if she was divorced, she would also be called a single mother.
But I know she has not been married.
