i always saw big potential in that couple, she could really have been the next big -queen. great they´re still in the game, although i don´t know why. mix them up g/b!

Pitkeev and Savosin are now alternatives replaced by Plushenko and Alexander Samarin. There are only 10 ice dance teams competing too.

Russian nationals are supposed to be used as a qualifying competition for the Europeans (at least that's what I read somewhere at their web side) and out of the ladies participants 7 is age eligible, 10 not eligible (and the last one I don't know. dob 01.09.1997 won't be eligible, will it?). So they can only choose out of 7. Not very big choice!

nothing new in russia
and regarding the last skates, it will be a match of 4 (sotnikova,la tuk, ksenia, leonova) with one wildcard (polina k.). biryukova (unfortunately) and shelepen (unfortunately, too) don´t seem to be in any competetive shape.

so we got 5 girls for three euro tickets, so 2 can hope, one of those three will be bad at euros, so she´s sent to worlds.

Tretyakov retired after he withdrew from last year nationals. Leushin retired after 2010 nationals and is now coaching. But where the hell is Bariev??? He was better than everybody minus Menshov, Voronov, and Kovtun. No fair

Guess Stanislav Kovalyev retired too. Haven't seen him all season. I'm gonna miss his personality
