The good thing about only 6 skaters is that no one is being chacked today.

Kiira's dress is gorgeous in high-def. The color wasn't nearly as intense on the online feed.

So proud of the way Ashley kept going! Sounded like the crowd was really with her.

Yu-Na Kim's return to competition at NRW Trophy even made NBC's Sports Report update along with the college football news just now!

ETA: I take back what I posted earlier -- I bet NBC chacked Tatsuki Machida so they could show Davis/White's winning FD.

I just love Kozuka's skating, but he really hasn't worked on his projection at all over the years. Reach for the rafters and emote, boy!

And Tara should STFU. She has a pleasant voice to listen to, but she talks WAY too much, and 99% of what she says is cliches and entirely predictable.

Wow - that's an awful lot of venom. Tara is fantastic. Kurt could stand to put a sock in it from time to time.

I agree, but if he says "Tukta-mooooshuva" one more time I'm going to cut my ears off.

Well, yes, it's because I didn't think her commentary was very good.

And just because one commentator talks too much doesn't mean others don't do the same.

He says Tuktamooooshova, which is very irritating to me too, but I would rather cut off his tongue (I am evil ! ) than my ears.

Whaaaat?????!!!! Gannon talks so much during the skate, and it has nothing to do with what's happening on the ice. I have found him extremely annoying since the days of B&S. He has not changed/improved one bit. He is very good looking though, so I should just turn off his voice (if technology can achieve this feat in the future), and watch his face and the skating.

BTW they did chack Machida. All 5 men they showed were soooo good! I am loving mens skating.

I agree Tara's doesn't talk to much, she knows her stuff and she is honest without being brutal. She is a refreshing change!

No. We were lucky (sarcasm) that at least they showed their FD.

There was no mention of pairs, since they seem to think that we only care to watch American skaters.

I love Terry and used to miss the ABC days, but then I went back and watched a program from US Nats (on ABC) and was at how they rambled. I can't remember who was skating, but it was quiet during the first section of the program (lively music) and then when it changed to a quiet section and I was just getting into it, Terry began to ramble about the skater's personal life. I'm sure he's just following directions, but I've become spoiled by the foreign feeds that wait until the end to make their comments.
