i think the reason why they stray away from social media is that they know they will be harassed by their stalker-haters. its good yet daunting that they know about the shit that has been said about them and their program.

I could always understand Carmen just not being everyones cup of tea but I continue to at people who act as if Tessa and Scott are doing porn on ice. Clearly those who feel that way must be relatively new to watching icedance. There have been far more steamier pieces in the past and even those still didn't fit into the too much for kids territory. Puleeze. I'm glad V&M aren't on the social media sites or spend time scanning through them.

I wish the poll in the article had better options though. I voted for "I'm not offended" but the poll should have had an "I love it; one of the best programs I've ever seen" choice.

I've been catching up on V&M news and before this season, if I had read that V&M were doing a program overhaul, I would have been disappointed and dreading seeing how much they might have had to change the feel of their programs to get the points. However, this time I'm excited; can't wait to see the new version of the SD. At this point at least, IMO Jennifer Swan can do no wrong in my eyes. Team V&M really need to keep her on for next season.

it's very understandable that they're upset about their work being called those names. They must care for that program so much, that it's like hearing insults toward a beloved relative or something. perhaps, unlike the fans who know well about these things , they don't see that the reason behind all that is often jealousy and ostility toward them. if Scott feels better venting his feelings about it (we know he's an honest guy), it's a right thing. I can't help to think, though, that the best way to respond those comments is to "kick asses" at competitions; doing so, they can defend the artistic greatness of their treasure

Honestly i cant understand, why canadian press all time before Nationals talking about Carmen critics? And this voting show - who care if so much people even never saw this FD? Its look like canadina press help did not good PR for Tessa and Scott.
I think better will be talking about changes, innovative elements, to show V-M practice.....IMHO, articles like this only help t-S rivals.
And i feel sad we didnt have any practice reports in photos And SkateBuzz didnt show practice and will not show nothing from ice dance events, even if TV will not show FD "live"

People have different opinions and they are entitled to them. To each their own .. there would be something wrong if EVERYONE loved the same programs.
