I thought it was because of jury favoritism? I remember there being an article about the jury voting for people they've worked with or people under the same management.

I thought she would win the whole thing. Public vote at least.

And Ana Matronic from Scissor Sisters will be co-commentator for the semis on BBC.

A talented, successful artist and a great proformer. In other words she will be 2nd to last like the last guy the UK sent up.

Luuurve Bonnie Tyler! One of my absolutely favorites!

Her songs were already labeled as "oldies" when I first heard them. Still some of the best.

    http://www.esctoday.com/47470/serbia...je3-for-malmo/ Nooo don't change it

UK's song is decent-ish. This year is so crap that maybe UK will actually be higher than 25th this time. Maybe.

Can't wait to see which boring song Israel will pick today.

    OH PISS OFF!

Bonnie fcuking Tyler. Has-been, scraping the bottom of the barrel 'star,' much?

And UK could have had something fun! He might have been just taking the piss but Daz Simpson was thinking about pitching an entry based on the following concept:

'camp camp camp cotton eye joe meets gham style.
Meet dressed in leather with a cod piece with semi naked cowgirls and boys behind me.
Its Eurovision let's embrace the camp think Ukraine 2007'

How amazing would that be? But no, Bonnie 'past it' Tyler.

It's more or less as dull as boring as The Hump's 'effort.' I predict 24th place.

'Two geriatric acts in a row.' 'Total eclipse of the taste police.' - The Internet.

WE SHOULD HAVE GOT GIRLS ALOUD!

And no, don't change Serbia! Their entry is amazing precisely because of the sex shop costumes and the lap dancing 'choreography!'

I can't believe they axed Paddy who used to commentate the semis on BBC3. He was the best commentator ever.

Of course, we couldn't get a fun song. There clearly wasn't enough dire crap entered this year. Well done, Israel.

Melodifestivalen final is going to be about 242353455436457 times more exciting and fun than Eurovision this year.

I am so disappointed with Israel's choice. Forever won the public vote but the jury didn't give it any points.

I think Yohio is going to win for Sweden and his song is boring too. I want the banana song to win.

    ^ 100 percent agreed.

I'm rooting for "Copacabanana" on Saturday. Yohio is totally blah but I prefer him to the peroxide fetus.

I'm really hoping that Margaret Berger wins the whole thing. Her song is one of the only legitimately good Eurovision songs I've ever heard.

I really wanted "Forever" to win.

Well, this kinda proves Kathleen Reiter's point.

I also think it's going to win and it's a terrible song.

Here is the Moldovan jury vote:

    12 Robin Stjernberg "You"
    10 Anton Ewald "Begging"
    8 Sean Banan "Copacabanana"
    7 David Lindgren "Skyline"
    HUGE FCUKING GAP
6 Louise Hoffsten "Only The Dead Fish Follow The Stream"
5 Ralf Gyllenhammar "Bed on Fire"
    4 State of Drama "Falling"
    3 YOHIO "Heartbreak Hotel"
2 Ulrik Munther "Tell The World I'm Here"
1 Ravaillacz "En riktig javla schlager"

I would be fine with any of my top 3 songs winning. Lindgren would be ok too since it's a proper banger. I really hope nobody else wins, though. :/

YOHIO has terrible 80s dad rock, Ulrik Munther and State of Drama are really bland.

I was terrified for a moment that Ravaillacz would win the public vote and possibly win the whole thing but THANK GOD the juries are international and will surely award them nul points.

Definitely. It's the only really good song entered this year so far.

Ulrik Munther was even more dull than before.

David Lindgren's performance was 10/10. Fantastic stage direction and choreography and the vocals were spot on.

State of Drama are just so tepid and inoffensive. It sounds like somebody is trying to tick all of the possible 'radio friendly' boxes.

The only amusing thing about their performance is the poodle perm mullet keyboard player.
