The new version of Albania's entry has been revealed:
Albania - Adrian Lulgjuraj & Bledar Sejko "Identitet"
A decent, 80s styled rock song. It will definitely stand out amongst all the ballads and the bland crap entered this year. I like it.![]()
Croatia - Klapa s Mora "Mižerja"
The 'It's a bit like Il Divo on a budget.' YT comment says it all really.
Ukraine - Zlata Ognevich "Gravity"
This is the new recorded version. Pretty, Disney movie song. Ukraine will once again surely place top 10. That video is terribly amateurish though. Ugh.
In other news, there has been a great an important rule change:
http://www.esctoday.com/48047/eurovi...all-the-songs/
Instead of just top 10 songs counting, juries will be ranking all of the songs now, which should produce fairer, more balanced results.
"Kismet" has conveniently had 'copyright issues.'

New version of Belgium's song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQkyrUfJyUw
I think it's an improvement but what will it sound like live? Has he learned how to sing yet?
It's a definite improvement, yes. But it's still a quite a mediocre track and it's his live vocals which are the biggest issue.![]()
Lots of new videos up!
Azerbeijan - Farid Mammadov "Hold Me"
He's hot. Such a cheesy power ballad. Weakest AZE entry ever?
Belgium - Roberto Bellarosa "Love Kills"
I like the music, I like the verses but the chorus is awful. It's hilarious how he's the winner of "The Voice Belgique" given how he sang at the national final.
Bulgaria - Elitsa & Stoyan "Samo Shampioni"
It's a bit shit but happy clappy and will probably go down well. I love the drums in this and people usually like the song with an 'ethnic feel.'
Cyprus - Despina Olympiou "An Me Thimase" (If You Remember Me)
A pretty ballad. This should do well. It bores me, though.
France - Amandine Bourgeois "L’Enfer et Moi"
It's a good song but I'm not really feeling it at the moment.
Israel - Moran Mazor "Rak bishvilo"
GFB. She looks like a drunk librarian.![]()
Montenegro - Who See "Igranka" (Party)
No, Montenegro won't enter the final this time either. What a piece of crap.
Netherlands - Anouk "Birds"
This official video almost makes me lose all of the respect I had for her.
It desperately screams 'Oh look at me, I am an authentic, credible artist, just me and the microphone, no fancy video, that's how it should be.' etc. PISS OFF. It's not like she's actually singing live.
Spain - El Sueño de Morfeo "Contigo hasta el final"
That's the official video.
Switzerland - Takasa "You and Me"
They have changed their name to a Swahili word which means 'clean' and it's also a play of words on 'The Artist Known as Salvation Army.' Their uniforms won't be allowed either so they will perform in black trousers and white shirts. I hope they go to hell and don't get out of their semi. Homophobic assholes.

The Russian entry video was posted today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Vwzd...ature=youtu.be
Not crazy about it.When is Russia going to realize that Anna Semenovich is perfect for Eurovision?

VALENTINA MONETTA!
San Marino - Valentina Monetta "Crysalide"
So it starts and I think 'hmmm that's a bit too serious face and boring.' But there is a lot of drama and the song grows on me. And then suddenly it picks up and explodes into an orgasm of amazingness. Can't believe Siegel actually penned it. FORZA VALENTINA! This has to qualify to the final!
Dull as dishwater.
I love San Marino's song. If Italy was voting in their semi, I think San Marino would qualify for the first time.
I just remembered the Valentina Monetta song was being released today and rushed here for the link--thanks! It's very Eurovision-competent, which isn't really a good thing for me, but I will always love her for "beep beep ooh oh oh."
If someone showed me that Bulgarian video with no explanation, there is no way in hell I would guess it (the video in particular, although the song as well) was produced in 2013! It's kind of hilarious, and not boring, so it gets my support.
ETA: The Israeli woman's appearance! Her stylist either needs to be fired or get a reality TV show, or both.
The Israeli singer has the most ridiculous styling I have ever seen! Every single aspect of her appearance is so shockingly bad, it's entertaining.
I hope Valentina Monetta starts covered with lots of flowing robes and then when the song reaches the crescendo, all the rags get swept away, there's lights exploding, fireworks, smoke the whole shebang and she emerges from her "Chrysalis" dressed in a stunning golden mini dancers appear and everbody is waving their hands. OMG I can't imagine it already!
OR... Valetina Monetta sings, Valentina Marchei skates in the background! The two best Valentinas ever together.
Iceland - Eyþór Ingi Gunnlaugsson "Ég á Líf"
BORING.
Serbia - Moje 3 "Ljubav je svuda"
This is the new version... which sounds exactly like the old one, only a bit worse.
I think the only song we're waiting for now is the new Macedonian song "Pred da se razdeni" (Before The Sun Rises). So far it's only been presented to the press and the reactions are... very negative. Apparently it's less catchy than "Imperija." LOL. But one journalist said 'Whatever we end up placing at, at least we won't be ashamed of our entry.'

don't forget we're still waiting for an Italian song.
Valentina Monetta's entry this year is AMAZING!!!
The choreo for Valentina Monetta better be all voidy. Not gonna lie, I was a bit sad that it's such a serious song, but it's grown on me.
Moldavia has chosen tonight. Interestingly the winning song has been written by Sasha Parfeny who had that godawful joke song last year:
Moldova - Aliona Moon "A Million"
Generic power ballad but it's not bad. Dramatik!
F.Y.R. Macedonia have replaced their song to this:
Macedonia - Esma & Lozano "Pred Da Se Razdeni"
Not as trashy as Imperija that is for sure. They are both good singers, I love the ethnic touches. Not very catchy but quite a good job, I think. That journalist was right: At least they won't have to feel ashamed.![]()

Macedonia, Ziggy, not Montenegro...
Marco Mengoni will sing"Essenziale" in Malmö. Decent, but rather forgettable (imho). The worst thing is that he reminds me of a certain adult movies' actor.
As for the new Macedonian song, I can't believe I'm writing this, but I preferred "Imperija", its tackiness notwithstanding...
Armenia - Gor Sujyan "Lonely Planet"
Booooooooooring.
The French song is really growing on me. Very sophisticated and stylish. Proper YT link below:

Oops! Indeed.
Which one?
And yes, the Italian song is so dull and forgettable. Ugh.
So, we have all the songs now. When will we do the FSU Eurovision contest? I want to be Macedonia.
