Buttle and Browning are incomparable. Nobody currently competing comes close.

Just looking for tickets to the Vancouver show, Ticketmaster is offering a Stars on Ice Fan Club Premier Membership for $49.99 (I'm assuming that's per person)....I've never done this before, actually I've noticed it....it says you get a meet & greet an an exclusive gift at the show. Just wondering if anyone has done this before? Is it worth it? Is it just a handshake at the side of the ice or a more formal meeting? What's the gift? Any other benefits? Any info would be appreciated![]()
I did this last year in Toronto. It was fun. We got in early, got to watch the skaters warm up (no contact though), then we were taken to an area where we met the skaters (Cynthia and Joannie). They were seated at a table and you could get a photo with them and an autograph. The gift was a picture frame with a SOI logo. Mine went to Value Village pretty quick It was fun to do and we managed to have a few words with the skaters but couldn't really linger. We had a group of about 20 and it didn't last long. It's fun to do once if you haven't met a skater. I don't plan to do it again though. Been there, done that.
got my pre-sale tickets in the mail today!
I am holding off buying a ticket to SOI Victoria. Last year there was a last minute Groupon for $25. It was in the nosebleed section but I was able to move down at intermission. Hoping that happens again this year.
BTW, I saw SOI 2012 on TV recently. The mens' number with the spotlights was even better up close. And Andrew Poje in a tank top is eye candy of the first degree.
2013 tour dates are from Friday, April 19 to Friday, May 10.

From Steve Milton of the Hamilton Spectator:

I have tickets to the Vancouver show on May 10 -- Section 106, Row 3. My usual date isn't available. If someone out there wants the second one, PM me. No cost to you - tickets are from my boss as part of my Xmas present.
