now that I have my premium account

I will do my very best to keep you posted. I am not sure I will be able to go on Friday, but will be there for the free programs on Saturday.

Is there any chance somebody is coming to Zagreb?

Should begin tonight with men, but there isn't a starting order posted. I mailed to the organisers and they will not do vids of this competition

Apparently the weather has been really bad in Zagreb. A number of skaters had flights diverted and missing bags. At least one skater will be doing the short in borrowed skates and clothes. How does someone even do that?

missing skates are really bad, clothes shouldn´t be that problem. most of the training outfits are simple, black f.e. and don´t are too ugly

Whhhoooaaa skating in borrowed skates? Has that ever happened before in an international competition? I feel bad for whoever has to do that! Good luck, I hope it works out somehow?

Any news on the men's SP? Competition should be almost over by now but the results page is still not working

Mark Ladwig finished the short program at 4CC 2011 by borrowing one of Rudi Swieger's skates after Mark's boot broke during the program.

^ Thank you, I didn't know about that! Amazing, really. I remember I forgot my skates once when I was about to coach a group of little kids and I had to borrow someone elses - it was horrible, I felt as if I had never skated before in my life ...

The Australian boy skated in borrowed skates. He did not do official practice so his first time in them was the warm up.

^ wow, thanks for the info! Judging from the protocols he didn't do too well unfortunately. I hope his skates will turn up in time for the long program.

Are you in Zagreb, insideedgeua? If yes, could you provide us with some practice/competition reports ? Thanks in advance!

On another note, here is a pic of Carolina with her teammates in Zagreb: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...type=1&theater

Results page is working now. Shame there's no Jenna or British ice dancers in the starting orders. Wonder why they all withdrew?

The name of the other 2 girls are Carol Bressanutti and Elettra Maria Olivotto.
They're both competing in Senior Nationals events and I guess they're there to compete in Senior as well.
