I think Davis/White will win since their SD is better than V/M's and V/M never win the GP Final, for some reason.

I'd love Meryl and Charlie to win it again as it's the one title they have that Tessa and Scott don't. However, at the end of the day I prefer them to win Worlds, unlike last year, so the GPF title may as well go to Scott and Tessa.

That's what I want. What I think? It's gonna be incredibly close. I'd love D/W to win the SD section as theirs is a masterpiece. It's harder to say with the FDs, it can go either way, depening on the performance of the day.

The title will go to whichever team manages to hit all their edges in the YP and the step sequences, in other words, the team that can manage the levels, as the judges will pretty much tie them on components. Remember last year though that D&W had a huge lead after Scott fell in the SD, and that V&M actually won the free dance once the scoring error was corrected. So anything can happen and something out of the ordinary probably will...

I think it will be a repeat of last year, D/W wins SD and V/M wins FD. Overall though I think D/W will win.

In line with mia joy's spiteful comment, one could say that Olympic gold trumps GPF gold by anyone's standard. Does that mean we should wish wonderful skaters like M/C never win at Olys?

So it's spiteful to hope that your favourite team wins a medal that they have not won before? Honestly, if Davis and White win this won, I do think Virtue and Moire will somehow be able to get out of bed the next morning. If I understand these four skaters correctly, they will all be happy for each other regardless of who ends up with the gold.

For me, Virtue and Moir should already have a GPF gold: the 2009-2010 title. I found their FD sufficiently better to make up the difference after the OD.
2010-2011 (obviously) and 2011-2012 do fairly belong to D/W.
But there´s no way to know what will happen this year...

Oh, come on! I wasn't being spiteful, I was being fair Since Tessa and Scott still have that one title Meryl and Charlie don't (the Olympic one), it's only fair that Meryl and Charlie have one that Tessa and Scott don't...

I mean, after Meryl and Charlie win the next Olympics, Tessa and Scott can win as many GPF titles as they want. Or the other way around, if Tessa and Scott win a GPF title, it should mean Meryl and Charlie will win the Games

But to be serious, I think they (D/W) still would give away all their GPF golds for that one Olympic title.
