While it was hard to explain to coworkers why I was going to St Paul in January for vacation, both cities did a great job the last time they hosted and I'm sure they'll do a good job again. Thanks to all the club members and volunteers for committing to put in all the hours necessary to put on Nats!![]()

BRING IT BACK TO ATLANTA!!!
I will definitely go to Greensboro again, but not sure about St. Paul. I don't know if I want to be in a place so cold that you have to stay indoors the whole time. And I remember reading some stories from FSUers about getting lost in the habitrail, lol.
I liked the experience in Greensboro, but I wish there had been things to do in the area other than the skating. I always like to sightsee a little when I visit a place for a skating comp, and I remember Tuesday and part of Wednesday were kind of dead and it would have been nice to have something else to do. Maybe they'll move the JN events to earlier in the week. Or maybe I should volunteer. I've never done that at Nats.
There's lots to see in the Twin Cities, and we've had pretty mild January's as of late. Last year there was no snow and temperatures in the high 30's and 40's.

My Life Would Suck Without FS-You
Grr. At least I'll be out of college by then, so it should be easier to get around at that time of year, but still...soooo cold for a SoCal girl!
Woo-hoo for Greensboro!!!At least it won't conflict with the NHL All-Star Game again and cause me to miss it LOL.
Thus we may assume that Skate America will be on the West Coast.
Just shoot me and get it over with.
the Founders ...left us the keys to a system of self-government, the tools to do big things and important things together that we could not possibly do alone --Barack Obama
Not happening... the city has to WANT it.
I am very impressed that we are getting this much advance notice. Goes way against the trend lately which seems to have been more on the "let's not commit to anything" method.
I had a good time at both of these cities when I went for Nationals. So the cities aren't a negative.
And Greensboro wants this... just checked the newspaper site and it's Breaking News!

Happy happy St. Paul! :-) And they'll have the light rail connecting St. Paul with downtown Minneapolis, the University of Minnesota (which means they could use the U of MN arenas as practice ice pretty conveniently), and with the Mall of America by then, so those intimidated by Minnesota winters will have more opportunities to avoid being outside.

I think I will have a snack and take a nap before I eat and go to sleep.
YES!!! A chance to get back to Patrick McGovern's Pub in St. Paul. Best hot turkey sandwiches ever![]()
