"have him get some experience but top 10 doesn't matter." she's right that in august he was nobody but that just seems like a reason as to why there should be nothing held against him.

With dance forget new elements how about level 4! The need for consistent level 3 and 4 is it.

A lot of teams are doing Lv3 and Lv4 elements. You need much more than that to stand out from the crowd.

Whatever it is it's got to be consistently level 4 from all the teams and the goe's got to be good too. So whatever that's new it's got to be level 4 with goe +3. So that's not being done now by anyone with any consistency with team Russia.

The choreographer is Yuri Smekalov, who, you may recall, choreographed not only Artur's "Narcissus" program, but Plushenko's magic "Nijinsky".

I think what we are seeing is the opening and closing - hard to tell. Either way, I love it already!

That is not what she said. She said when they train for an event in North America, out of all the rinks available, Simbercy, Connecticut, is the one picked by Morozov for practice and adaptation, becuase it's the rink/location that is most familiar and comfortable for them.

Julieann, you're right. In this context Elena used the word "second" to mean "the other" or "the next" as in "here we are, a dance team, talking to you, and then there is the next "top" team, or "the other top team".

Elena is well coached in PR, and does not say stupid things, so far.

Averbukh says that right now they are starting new TV project (something about dance), but there will definitely be the next season of Ice Age and it will feature some foreign skaters. Says that they want to promote figure skating before the Sochi Olympics.

(Could it be Marina Anissina? Does she count as a foreign skater? )
