Wow, I really have no idea who will be going to JWs this year. It seems like so many of the girls are going to be in the toss up, especially with someone like Yasmin skating so well.
And I guess we'll have to see where the other contenders are going to place!
Sorry in advance for the unnecessary post but can someone please link me to the starting orders or results pages? I'm watching and subscribed to IN but I have no idea where to find the order.
Thank-you!
thought COP was supposed to eliminate the judges holding places for later skaters? this is no different than 6.0....
you can't tell me skating first doesn't hurt your scores, or that the judges are not leaving room for Gao, Gold, Wagner, Zawadzki..........
I think, depending on final scores, Polina Edmunds may already have one of the three JW spots. I was predicting that Miller and Wang would get the other two. Now, I'm not sure.
Why is it taking so long to get Caroline's score!?!?!?
Oh, they had ice resurfacing?
I guessing they're doing resurfacing. There are 20 girls. Nine have already skated in the first two groups; eleven will skate after the resurfacing. Makes sense: the ice isn't that good after about 10 or so skaters.
Guess Gracie couldn't handle the pressure... Looks like Mirai is probably going to be on the World team! 10 points is going to be hard to make up.
Usually but now there are TES minimums and Polina doesn't have them, so they'd have to send her to Ice Challenge or Triglav beforehand to get them if they wanted to send her. I don't think it would be a bad idea, I think she would do well, but with so many senior ladies age eligible, they might just send 3 senior ladies and avoid having to fly Polina out somewhere to qualify.
Agnes is ahead of her and Christina is only 5 points back, they don't have the same UR issues, Mirai is not probably going to Worlds, it's still way up in the air, it just looks unlikely that Gracie will go to Worlds. Agnes and Christina are definitely in the mix along with Mirai.
