I just watched a nine part History channel documentary called The Men Who Killed Kennedy that's up on Youtube. It's very interesting.

On Veteran's Day I went to the National Archives to see their exhibit on the Cuban missile crisis. Kennedy had hidden tape recorders, and it was eerie listening to portions of the discussions he had secretly taped. We came so close to the brink of nuclear war. I was just in elementary school and too young to understand completely what was going on, but I still remember the tension in my parents and grandfather while they watched the news. I remember Kennedy's assassination very clearly.
When I'm old, I don't want them to say of me, "She's so charming." I want them to say, "Be careful, I think she's armed."
