I avoided it...mostly. We spent Black Friday traipsing downtown with family and having lunch when we stumbled upon a support local business festival. We ended up with some items made by local artists (does it count as not Black Friday since they were all full price)?

I usually avoid Black Friday shopping because I don't like dealing with crowds. Yesterday one of friends posted on Facebook that she got some really good deals on Amazon on a sewing machine and a laptop. I want to get a serger but couldn't find a deal on one. I need to do more research on them anyway because I don't know what I want.
When I'm old, I don't want them to say of me, "She's so charming." I want them to say, "Be careful, I think she's armed."
