Adriana, yech. Cody, blah song choice, pretty zzzz even though I do like him. Amanda pretty dang impressive even if nobody can be Florence. Bryan is just awesome- now that I know he did metal stuff I really can't wait to see him do something harder. He's the kind of guy that can tackle anything. Cassadee was nice, better than some.

I want to pick the songs for Terry to sing. I'd go with Lucky Man. The little Scot is such a cutie. He needs songs tht let you hear the purity of his voice and not screaming.

Terry closes the show with another 80's hair rock classic. I see fillings when he sings. I would love to see him do something with just an acoustic guitar and no glory notes.

I didn't really love any of the performances tonight. Nothing I'm going to go back and look at again.

1. Bryan - loved his song choice and his interpretation - best of the night
2. Terry - he would tie with Bryan except for song choice
3. Melanie - 1st time I've loved her voice, song was a good choice for her
4. Nicholas - I used to be huge Huey Lewis fan - he did a great job with it
all the rest, sort of in this order:
Cody - a little hokey but he sounded pretty good
Sylvia - horrible song choice, beyond horrible hair color
Trevin - just no...no one should EVER cover that song after Percy Sledge did it to perfection
Michaela - it was just pretty fair kareoke
Dez - better than last week but if it wasn't for his voice he would be long gone
Amanda - her use of her arms is very distracting for me, didn't like her song choice & I don't like that screaming kind of voice
Cassadee - mediocre, nothing really stands out
Adriana - screechy & horrible....I imagine the guys on the front row got an eyeful

I love this guy's voice except when he starts shrieking. "Listen" was amazing. But every other song he's since has had shrieking sections where it seems that he's trying to out-power the band as a way of showing emotion. I wish he'd just stick to singing.

If Dez had sung like that in the blind auditions, no chairs would have turned for him. He really should not sing songs that make people compare him to talented crooners. But, the pretty should get him through. I wouldn't mind him going home with Adriana and Cassadee. I still don't get the love for Cassadee.

I missed the beginning of the show. What was the theme? "Ignore Your Limitations"? Or was it "Always Choose Songs That Make Your Sing At Least One Half Ocatve Past Your Upper AND Lower Range"? The high-pitched squealing of many of the women (and Trevin) made fingernails on chalkboard sound delicious!

Forget giving skunkhawk the new do. Nick is the one who desperately needs it. And new glasses. And a good beard trim/shave. And a better costumer. But his voice is fabulous, and I actually threw him the votes tonight.

I'd like to see him in a t-shirt and jeans -- and not white shoes.

Maybe he was just meant for the radio.
