What are they saying exactly? Knowing what they're saying will help the rest of us figure this out.
The only thing I've heard is the "Igor gave Carmen to C/L to get back at Marina and/or V/M" thing. I have seen a few random comments around the internet from 1 or 2 people who wondered if the sexualty was going to be too much for some people, but other than that, no one has had a problem with it.
Cherub don't worry we're almost there! And I think we will get the full impact since they'll be in costumes and everything. Now I've been thinking, you guys don't think they could possibly get deductions for being too risqué?
Pani is it the Russian forum on livejournal? If not can I have the link to the one you're talking about?
Dont pay attention. It was something on trumbl/ Will wait what people will say after competitions.
Pani, it would help us to learn what is it exactly you read? We are panicking already as it is, so what are they saying?

Look like ice-dance.com like Carmen![]()
So she thinks the first lift might be illegal, like the original goose?
Oh, THAT. Yes, I saw that on Tumblr too. The poster, who referred to them as "Voir" put an NC-17 tag on their post. It was silly, really. This is why I said yesterday that we should try not to over-sexualize it, that's exactly what others are saying.
Don't understand what the problem is here, V/M can easily remove the hand action if the judges let them know that move is too explicit for their taste. Tessa and Scott will be getting feedback from the official judges at several competitions from now to Worlds and they'll have plenty of time to make adjustments if need be.
Well anyone who uses names like Voir and Marlie should not be taken seriously![]()
True. What is it with people and portmanteaus? (Is that the plural of portmanteau?)
Scott's hand placement has been there many times in the past for various lifts, such as the one where she is horizontal and her hand grips his skate boot. Would mere intention make the move OTT? In the lift, it's technique. This changes when it's choreography?
I think it is fine. His right hand is in that position for a fraction of a second.The following movementsand/or poses during the lift are illegal:
Lifting hand(s) of the lifting partner higher than his head*;
Lying or sitting on the partner’s head;
Sitting or standing on the partner’s shoulder, back;
Lifting partner swinging the lifted partner around by holding the skate(s)/boot(s) or leg(s) only
with fully extended arm(s) or by holding the hand(s) with full arm extension by both partners;
Lifted partner in upside down split pose (with sustained angle between thighs more than 45
degrees)**;
* It is not considered as an Illegal Lift Movement/Pose if:
• the point of contact of the lifting hand/arm of the lifting partner with any part of the body of
the lifted partner is not sustained higher than the lifting partner’s head;
• the lifting hand/arm which is used for support or balancing only or which touches any part
of the body of the lifted partner is not sustained by the lifting partner higher than his head
for more than 2 seconds.
** A brief movement through an upside down split pose (with any angle between thighs) will be
permitted if it is not established (sustained) or if it is used only to change pose.
OMG. Why did you post this?
Could we kust ignore this? Look like this is Aunt Jones.
