Ice-dance.com has some very interesting photos from the FD practice.
I really love these two:

Not for everybody though, the joke I mean. Yes the exquisite dance and skating was there, but was so surprised with the sexiness. I was expecting something else, dreading something else actually. It was kind of mind numbing to realize that your greatest fear is not going to happen but instead your going to get something special. I meant it when I said that I was really scared that they may go too dramatic and lose their identity as dancers. Like Shayii feared, that they would do something they are not. But they are still dancers and more. Hope that made sense. Can't really function now.
I decided to wait for the SD, must as well stay awake for that. But shutting down now. shutting down...![]()
Not well. I really shouldn't be reading this thread, but I had hoped to see Cherub state he/she watched the program so I could totally break my word. I'm also wondering if my promise to abstain includes SD practice. I'm also wondering how much I hate all of you who didn't join me(as well as my own startling lack of willpower, though holding strong so far). I'm rather irritated at the universe for letting Moir get injured before Finlandia because I think it's clear we needed this program sooner.
Thank you for the new thread, IoanaC! and thanks for the title, m_chenning!
Bahahahaha, Sahararainfall! I really got a kick out of your posts!
trying so hard to stay with Cherub721, Proustable, and Shayii, but I don't know if I have the willpower...especially after reading all your comments, which have been awesome, btw. will try to resist the temptation to take a peek...
aka_gerbil, I, too, am sorry about your grandmother. She is lucky to have you, and I think it is really nice that you can share skating with her. I hope you both enjoy the SD
and sequins, I watch Tessa and Scott with my mom too, and she is quite proper. I am interested to see her reaction to some of the moves that have been described here, lol, but she adores this music (and V&M).
thank you so much to marikat for posting all the vids to tempt usseriously, though, I really appreciate all the links you provide for us here. I am sorry you were unable to catch V&M at Finlandia.
thanks also to iggie for your amazing blog--I just love the breadth of information available there--I have not seen another blog like it. You really get at so many different aspects of their skating.
and Emdee, I can't wait to see the banner! Thank you for doing that! and thanks to pani and jl22aries for providing the photo and slogan respectively.
Welcome Tracer, browning, and all the other newbies, and welcome back/to the new season everyone else! can't wait to read your thoughts on the programs!
Welcome back BKfan. We missed your posts. As you can plainly see, we are all excited about Tessa and Scott's new programs.

WOW, WOW, WOW. I LOVE the FD program. I cannot wait to see it in its entirety but it is so difficult, exciting and intricate.
I have no words. As I said earlier, Tessa and Scott need to have a dance which screaming "WE are the winners, remember who we are and what we can". Here it is for me. I just adore every shown second. They are bold, they are sensual, they are absolutely know what they do and what effect it has. And yes, Tessa really has THAT power. She is stunning. Oh, Scott, what a partner. How quickly he is turning on in this game for two on the ice! And what a control in all lifts!
I wish a full and successful season for them the and for us!![]()
WOW. Really liked what I saw so far in the FD. That wasCan't wait to see the full program in competition and the lifts were incredible.
I am so-o-o-o looking forward to British Eurosport's coverage of the FD.

I'm almost speechless. I'd seen the shorter minute and a half interview plus snippets the other day and was already beyond happy. This is the first look I've gotten that gives a better idea of what the FD will look like in it's entirety.
I have waited since Vancouver for V&M to do a FD like Carmen. We all know that they were capable of this but I agree that it's good they waited until now. Very sexy, slinky and sensual but also technically demanding. I've gone from being cautiously optimistic to being extremely pumped and excited for V&M. What a glorious piece of choreography. Tessa and Scott are all grown up.
That said while the program is indeed sexy, I don't think it's overly so. I also didn't see any crotch touching; at the beginning they both grab each other at thigh level. LOL I did see the butt grab though. Both Tessa and Scott really work this music. Wow, just wow.
And is that article serious about the battle of the Carmens. Really? I always thought a true battle would be if the two teams were competing head to head for the same placements. C&L have been one of my favorite teams and I'm happy to see them finally moving forward with their skating after a few seasons of issues. I do like their version of Carmen although it's more of a traditional, expected interpretation but artistically and technically there is no comparision. Even the basic skating of both teams are at different levels. Also even with the improvements in Anna and Luca's skating they still aren't exactly going to be a threat to V&M. I get that some want to keep the few fans left watching skating excited and engaged but trying to get a new battle of the Carmens going between two teams who are at different levels and different stages of their careers isn't the way to do it.
