    Denis Ten's ice shows in KAZ, May 24-25 (Lambiel, Kostner, Joubert, Slutskaya, etc.)

    Denis Ten ( @Tenis_Den ) tweeted today:
    "Btw, we opened official website of the show - http://denisten.kz/show, everyone is saying it looks fabulous. What about you? "

    Shows in Kazakhstan are May 24 in Almaty and May 25 in Astana.

    Scheduled to appear: Lambiel, Kostner, Joubert, Slutskaya, Duhamel/Radford, Verner, Zaldua & Sukhanov (adagio pair), Zhiganshina/Gazsi, Besedin & Polishchuk (male ice acrobats).

    Denis Ten also just debuted new show programs in Nagoya, Japan, tweeting: "One of them was made on Kazakh music. And I'm so glad that the audience enjoyed my performance!
    You've got a great opportunity to see it live at 18:30 in Sport Palace of Baluan Sholak :-) I will skate for You with live musicians!"

    great cast. good for him and especially good for Kazakhstan! he's really doing a good job of popularizing figure skating in his home country.
    and if I'm right, 1000 KZT is about $6, best tickets cost about $27

    I'm going and really looking forward to it. Denis tweeted today that the show in Almaty is almost sold out. I also heard from Tatiana Totmianina that she and Maxim Marinin will perform as well.

    Yes, Duhamel/Radford were intended to perform, but now they are replaced with Totmianina/Marinin.

Nothing especially new in the quotes: Denis dreamt to invite all those stars to his country for quite some time and he is glad he can finally do this.     Alex Gazsi (ice dancer with Nelli Zhiganshina) didn't have his suitcase with his skates, but apparently received it this morning. Yesterday there was an official dinner with the deputy mayor. The skaters are treated like royals. :-)
