Nubka - Unpaid Slave Laborer...
9. I am not surprised. I'm so vanilla.

6 for me. Though of course I already know that I'm not a psychopath.
I had trouble with the 'rules were made to be broken' question. I am not a fan of rules in general and believe authority should always be questioned. But I had to 'disagree' as I would say 'rules were made to be examined', not necessarily.
Now, give me a questionairre about neurosis. . .. I might not be so easily absolved.
11 for me.
ITA Japanfan, actually I feel like that for a few of the questions... I suspect I would score higher if they use specific situational examples instead of broad theoretical questions.![]()
Surprisingly, no!
I only got 11.
Oh dear, we got some cray crays up in herre!![]()
I scored a 13, but wonder how I would score tomorrow.
17... i'm surprised most people are scoring so lowWhat's so psycho about me?
I got a 6, but I'mthat lots of people here are disappointed in low scores....
I got 4. You are safe from me lol
I've got 12. Hmm I'm more selfless than I've thought![]()
14. Neighbors can call on me for cups of sugar.
The question about animals in pain ought to have a double triple quadruple upsets-me-greatly answer.
I scored 4, and that includes a positive answer on the skydiving/amusement park ride question!
Many of these questions could also apply to several personality disorders. Also one can be persuasive but if the arguments reflect the reality, it's one thing but if the reality is distorted in the person's mind, that's something else. I was surprised the test didn't seem to take that into consideration. That may be another reason for the high results. Of course somebody with such a problem may have trouble differentiating what's actually going on from what they think is going on and may not reply accurately to a question like that....
I think I may have encountered somebody suffering from a similar issue once (I'm not ready to say the person was a psychopath though). I wish I had understood what was going on earlier. because it wasNothing made sense and it was not amusing, to say the least...

Only in this thread? In any case, can't be any weirder than the posts of those posters my "weird" posts are in response to.
BTW, there is another "h" in spelling of thread topic... minor typo, I know.

Again, the further information after the quiz advises those with high scores not to worry, because some of the traits associated with psychopaths come in handy for other careers, so it doesn't mean you will or have to go off the deep end. But it seems many here wish for or anticipated having higher scores.
As I noted earlier, Noah Cross' comment to Jake Gittes in Chinatown is fairly insightful, if rather chilling:
"Ya see Mr. Gittes, most people never have to face the fact that at the right time and the right place, they're capable of ANYTHING."
