Macy's Stars of Dance is a college student from Harlem who was accepted to Penn State but ran out of money to pay for it. So he went back to NYC and did tap dancing on the subway to earn money for his junior year.
Music is a standard version of "New York New York" mashed with a hip hop version.
i wonder how much he will make for this appearance?
I feel like I'm in a dream. But it can't be a dream because there are no boy dancers!
Awwwww little tap guy starts crying at the end.
"Hello/Broken Hearted" by Carmen is the guest star act. They give me a very Eurovision-y vibe.
Ok. Now we are getting to the last 3 teams.
Sabrina & Louis (her boobage still scares me)
Helio & Chelsie (run into Cheryl & Emmitt backstage and lament the dress/stumble error)
Bristol & Mark (on the floor waiting to begin while the rehearsal video is shown of their fight. Cut to close up of Sarah Palin. Cut to Bristol & Mark being all "fcuk it"/hug.)
And commercial.
We're back. They say Drew & Anna had the lowest and are already out.
Next team safe is Bristol & Mark. (Chelsie smirks in a way that actually makes me like her more.)
Sabrina is crying and Chelsie & Helio just look nervous
Helio & Chelsie are eliminated.
this is the first ouster that bums me out, i'm sorry to see both helio and chelsie out

I may have to bag this show.![]()
Booo Hisssss..... don't agree with that at all![]()
Thanks to PI .. I discovered I'm actually a Nontheist
"Love is better than Anger, Hope is better than fear" Jack Layton 1950-2011
that's annoying
Not particularly fond of Helio, but other(s) certainly should have gone before him.
And both Kirstie and Bristol are still in this.

So no Broadway for next week.
Sorry, Mark, you have to work with Bristol again.![]()
I was hoping to lose Tara Lipinski Sabrina in a "shocking" elimination. Oh well.
OK with Drew going but not OK with loosing Helio. Watching him dance and smile made me happy. None of the non-eliminated do.
I'm holding in just to see Apolo do hip hop now.
Didn't Sabrina and Mark date for a while? If they did, wouldn't pairing Mark and Sabrina feel a little awkward? So why would Bristol think Mark would want Sabrina? I think the whole thing reeks of staged upset.
Yes, Sabrina and Mark did date for a while.
I'm trying to pretend that Helio did not just get ousted.![]()
That and there was the added element of people whose former partners weren't on the show--Kelly pretty much was going to have a new partner no matter when she got asked.
I was 50% right, I figured Drew and Bristol would go, but I'm okay with Helio leaving, he bores me. If Sabrina had gone I'd be PISSED. I'm glad Kirstie's staying--she's the worst left now in actual dance ability and isn't as good as she was on her season (I'm still kind of let down) but she's so much fun...
If giving Tony and Melissa jitterbug was meant to be strategy, it could only be getting it off the board so they didn't get stuck with it because I think Melissa's going to be good at it. I am REALLY looking forward to Gilles doing Bollywood. I wish the eliminated couple had gotten Contemporary because I don't care who does, I hate it. And I'm VERY curious about what Cheryl and Emmitt's Bolero will be like. I like bolero a lot, Cheryl actually does have some background in American Rhythm, it could be good, but if he can't really do the lines it could be really bad. Derek and Shawn should blow mambo away--he's done it before on the show, it's not difficult if they're not grading you on your ability to count it right (and no one in the real world ever does, why would they on DWTS?) Being quick's an advantage...
I hope they give Mark some sort of brief on what "Rock and Roll" means in this context. And poor Kirstie. Though it should at least be fun to watch...
