Anita Hartshorn & Frank Sweiding :)

    Any other fans?

Anita & Frank were an American adaigo pair team and World Professional Champions. They had innovative lifts, some very dangerous and impressive looking tricks and some really voidy programs.

T.V. Tunes The number of costume/prop changes in this one routine makes me dizzy. Fun number though.

Their choreographer was the late Brian Wright who passed away in 2003. http://www.plover.com/rainbowice/wright.html

You're welcome! 1492 is probably my favorite H&S program.

I liked their 1492 program as well. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, I'd forgotten about them.

I enjoyed them, and their 1492 was incredible. But did they really win World Pros? How did Dick allow that one?

You're right, they didn't win Uncle Dick's Landover competition, but the World Professional Figure Skating Championships held in Jaca, Spain: http://www.goldenskate.com/figure-sk...ps-jaca-spain/

sorry about the confusion! I would rather have seen Frank & Anita at Landover than Underhill and Martini though

I never cared for their skating. They were creative, that's all.
