ETA: He said he's not forced to do this; the team needs him and he won't dwell on the personal benefits. There are some problems but it's better to know now than at the Olympics. At the moment Yao is still in the hospital because of his neck (???). So he'll know more about work arrangements later.
Zhang respected Zhao's choice of lp music this year (Yellow River Concerto). Zhao thinks it's important to show case something representative of your people. He's not lonely because he's doing it himself; his wife will help as health allows. (He says it's a girl and the baby will be their "treasure" regardless of sex)

He said for sure Pang/Tong will take up one spot, so it's just a matter of Sui/Han vs. Chen/Zhang. And it is on these two pairs that he will focus most of his energy. He also said that although it will be a challenge, gold/silver will be within P/T's reach. Ack. I wish they'd let P/T retire and rest, and let the two young pairs go instead.
