I was quite impressed with she-Monster during the scale task and was waiting for he-Monster to have a stroke during the bamboo task. Twinnies are so funny, I'm willing to ignore the screeching. They're the TAR Mary Murphy for me... always mute when on screen.

Not sure how I feel about the Twinnies. On one level the constant screeching is annoying but on another level, I love how competitive they are for a f/f team.

My favs are James & Jaymes. Even when messing things up like counting bamboo, they keep their positive attitudes going and I like that in a team.

Rock Star James' father was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer, no chance of remission.

Are James and Abba not brothers? I was surprised that only one of them was talking about the bad news. I missed the first episode this season, so didn't get the full story on the teams. They certainly look like brothers.

No, they are not brothers, just good friends (plus I believe James is one of Abba's law clients as well).

ok, through the magic of the internet I looked it up

Aside from their style (and personality) similarities, I guess I thought the most likely connection between a rock star and a lawyer would be if they were related

but it makes sense that Abba is an entertainment lawyer.

The twins are great racers--underneath all the screeching, they are actually pretty calm and cool. But there's so much screeching.

I was concerned towards the end that one of my favorite teams was going to be eliminated & then

it hit me that it was time for a NEL round & so it was. I'd like to see the Monster Truckers leave next as I don't find them very interesting.

My second favorite team is the Chippendales. Oh my hell, Jaymes (the blonder one has to be Jaymes not James, right?) is hilarious and all kinds of awesome.

I am in love with him! He was so sexy tying up those bundles of bamboo, lol. They are seriously hot and seem like nice country boys. Definitely my favorites this season!

The worst part about it was that it really didn't have an impact on the game, but it did mean that random strangers in a poor country gave money to James and Abba. So in a roundabout way, the twins took the money from the random strangers in Bangladesh.

Erin - you said it better than I thought it. I'm pretty sure they got rid of the 'no cash for last place NEL' teams a few seasons ago after it was pointed out that racers were begging in the streets of poor countries for cash so they could keep trying for a million dollars.

I just want karma to slap 2 teams right now.
