I can't believe that this is the first leg where they've had to self-navigate. I hadn't realized how much I missed it until they were finally having to do it in this leg and it's amazing how much it brought the Twins down.

Did they? I thought they said (when talking about their map) "they're so prepared, they're gay" (as if preparedness was a gay trait?) Still not a good thing, as 'goat farmers' is an easy label, but not quite the same as calling them 'the gays'. (ETA:Oh, I think this must be a different time they called them gay, "We could have beat the gays out here." TWOP has a poster thinking they said the guys, but since that would be two references to gays in one episode, probably not.)

I too am baffled bad ankle goat farmer took that task, except like he said- he forgot his ankle was bad. They were freaking standing on a tennis court, they had to know what was coming up.



/Also- having just watched Flo's season, without a doubt I would be the same by the end of the race. Maybe not quite as bad with the giving up, I don't think I'd do that, but I'd be whiny as hell when it got hard and I got tired and hungry. And my whine voice is just as grating...

I thought they said "gimps"? Which considering the ankle injury would make sense.

It would be nice for it to *not* ever be a label though.

Yes, they did mention how the Goat Farmers were prepared because they were gay, but as they were fixing the windmill, the Twinnies said they coulnd't "believe the gay's beat" them.

I'll watch it, but it's not international, so not quite the same thing. Fingers crossed CTV puts more thought into casting the host than they did with SYTYCDC.

Aw, NEL. I wouldn't mind if the Goats made the final over Twinnies. I can't believe the lack of driving/navigating this season, that is usually classic TAR fare with lost teams. Maybe it has to do with the Ford sponsorship, only using Ford cars?

This gay girl thought it was hilarious - teams use shorthand for each other, just as fans do. sometimes they're snarky, but this was hardly mean-spirited. It's far more objectionable to have someone call your sexual orientation a "life preference".
