I know. It makes their 1988 Olympic performance, even their 6th place finish in the short program, pretty inspiring after I read that.
Slightly off topic, but whatme the first time I saw it, was the reporters/commentators who came into the K&C to interview the skaters there. Although it's not as annoying as the one commentator who read Tiffany Chin her scores at U.S. nationals that one year-and Tiffany could clearly see judges holding up the score cards as well.
@ Liv, I'm not surprised that Toller like Selezneva & MakarovNot only did they have the skills and jumps to back them up, they had creative moves with some unique body positions.

One of my favorite pairs teams of all time - their 1985 sp, 1986 lp, 1989-90 lp, 1990 sp, and their world pro program from 1990 are some of my all time favorite pairs choreography
I haven't seen their 1984-1985 routines or the 1986 SP. I'd love to know who did their choreography.
