How do we know it was just 2? She could have been "feeling" something from Merle at the time. She just thought he was dead too and never said anything. I'm waiting for Merle to show up at the prison at some point and say "Whadda ya know - the kid has my eyes". The kid did take a liking to possible Uncle Daryl.


Merle has a way of talkin' to the ladies. My favorite line from Season 3 episode 4:

Merle to Andrea: "Hey blondie - How come we never hooked up?"

Andrea to Merle: "Because you called me a whore ....and a rug-muncher".

I am SO GLAD they did not spend the entire season with Carol missing/presumed dead. It wouldn't have been so bad since they just thought she was toast but everyone (viewers) knew she was still somewhere. I don't know why she was so weak, hasn't it only been a day or so? Is she hurt? Probably just more weak writing. Looks like things are about to get very interesting between the two camps!

Yay Carol is alive. I DVR'd it to watch in the am. I usually watch that and Dexter Monday mornings. Nice happy killing shows to jumpstart the week. Wholesome entertainment.... lmao!

I noticed that Rick called the child his baby and Lori told him it was their baby. Of course, Lori's voice was a hallucination but is this the writers way of letting us know that the child is in fact his or is it just his in that it is his responsibility? As you can see, I still don't buy the idea that we were ever led to believe the child was Shane's. lol

Well, Shane clearly thought there was a good chance it was his, and Lori told him "even if it is yours, it's never going to be 'yours'. ". Also, this season, when they first found the prison and were camping out on the lawn eating around a campfire, Daryl and Carol were on watch in the tower and commenting on pregnant Lori's appetite. Daryl says "Little Shane sure is hungry." Carol says "Don't be mean."

I wanted to see more of a reaction from Daryl when he found Carol. It would have been telling about how he really felt about her. As he opened the door and noticed she was alive, even a surprised smile, a tear or a quick kiss and hug would have been telling. I want to see these 2 end up together. Carol seems like a liberated new woman since losing her abusive husband and only child.

He doesn't know that it is his biologically. The baby is female, right? That could complicate things, but unless the baby grows up to look clearly like one or the other, we won't know.

But it his baby emotionally, and that's all the matters.

I was fearing that we would have to wait for so many episodes like when Sophia disappeared in Season 2
